Concertgoers heading to see Queen + Adam Lambert on the Gold Coast this weekend are being urged to work out their transport plan to avoid traffic chaos.
Original Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor, along with longtime frontman Adam Lambert will rock Metricon Stadium on Saturday night.
Gates will open at 6pm with the performance set to get underway at 8pm.

Here is everything you need to know about how to get to and from the concert:
PUBLIC TRANSPORT & FREE EVENT SHUTTLES
Ticket holders are able to access free QR Rail Services, Surfside Buslines, and G:Link Light Rail Services from 4 hours prior to 4 hours post the concert. Free Event Shuttles will operate from Nerang Station, Boowaggan Road Park ‘n’ Ride, Parkwood G:Link Station Park ‘n’ Ride and Broadbeach South Light Rail Station from 4:45pm. These shuttles will drop patrons directly outside the Stadium.
DISABILITY PERMIT PARKING
Disability permit parking will be set up at Emmanuel College off Birmingham Road. Patrons with a valid disability parking permit will have free access to this parking – there will be signage and traffic controllers directing patrons into the carpark. A free shuttle operated by Transcord (suitable for wheelchair patrons) will operate from 5pm between Emmanuel College and Metricon Stadium. This shuttle will drop off and pick up patrons directly outside Gate 4.
RIDESHARE & TAXI RANK
The Rideshare and Taxi Rank for this event has been set up in the Dream Centre carpark off Chisholm Road. Taxis are not able to be booked on exit from the event, rather patrons can access a taxi ready and waiting to take patrons. Rideshare services have been geofenced to the area ensuring drivers are aware of the pick up and drop off. Signage and lighting will be available for patrons from the Stadium to the Rideshare & Taxi Rank.
PARKING – BLUE CARPARK
Patrons who have pre-purchased a parking permit in the Blue Carpark will be permitted to enter the carpark from 4:30pm. The entrance to the carpark is via Nerang-Broadbeach Road (travelling Westbound). Patrons must have the permit displayed on their dashboard on entry and for the duration of the evening. Cars will not be permitted entry without a displayed parking permit. Parking is not available to purchased on the night of the event and has SOLD OUT.
Nerang-Broadbeach Road will be closed from the Ross St Intersection to the Chisholm Road intersection from 9:00pm until Midnight. No public vehicles will have access to the road during this time. Patrons parked in the Blue Carpark will be permitted to exit westbound only.
