Hungry driver fined for running red light to get Nandos

A hungry driver has been busted running a red light on their way to get a feed from nandos.

The driver was pulled over on a street in Perth on Monday afternoon, telling officers that they were simply “in a rush to get the kids nandos”.

Western Australia Police posted about the incident on Twitter.

“Nandos Chicken is good but lives are put at risk every time you drive through a RED TCL, there simply is no excuse!” they wrote.

The driver was fined $300 and lost 6 demerit points.
