A MAN has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his wife multiple times in a frenzied attack and leaving her to bleed out and die on a street in Sydney’s east.
Emergency services were rushed to Barker Street in Randwick about 8.45pm on Saturday after receiving reports that a woman had been stabbed.
They arrived to find the 47-year-old woman unresponsive on nearby Easy Street, close to the entrance to the Emergency Department of the Princes of Wales Hospital.

The woman had multiple stab wounds and sadly could not be saved.
Police confirmed she died at the scene, despite the best efforts of paramedics to keep her alive.
The woman’s 60-year-old husband was arrested on Barker Street and taken to Maroubra Police Station where he was formally charged with her murder.
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Parramatta Bail Court later on Sunday.
Crime scenes were established on both Barker and Easy streets and examined by forensic police.
