ARIA award-winning rapper Illy will join the Stafford Brothers, Bombs Away, Twins, Rave Radio, Some Blonde DJ and more on stage at the first ever all-age music festival during Schoolies week on the Gold Coast.
Called Schoolies Nation, the event will be held during the second week of Schoolies on December 4 and 5 exclusively for interstate school leavers.
More than 3,800 tickets have already sold for the festival which is being run by schoolies.com and Gold Coast promoter Billy Cross.

Schoolies.com CEO Matt Lloyd said the festival was proving a big hit with interstate students.
“Ticket sales are going exceptionally well and we are getting great feedback from interstate students who finally have their own event to look forward to in week two,” Mr Lloyd said.
“Illy, our headliner for the festival won an ARIA for Best Urban Album in 2013 and has been nominated for the same award again this year. He is extremely popular amongst students in the 17 to 18 age bracket.
“Australian DJ duo, the Stafford Brothers are another highly anticipated act which has also driven ticket sales.
Mr Lloyd said the Schoolies Nation Festival would also have a positive impact on the number of interstate visitors in week two of Schoolies Week.
“Bookings have been traditionally quieter during week two with interstate Schoolies being left to entertain themselves due to the fact that State Government infrastructure only supports week one,” he said.
“The two-day Schoolies Nation Festival on Surfers Paradise beach will turn things around by providing a huge drawcard for southern students bringing potentially millions of dollars of extra economic benefit to the Gold Coast.”
Tickets are priced at $75 for two days and available at www.schoolies.com/festival
