Instagram back up and running after global outage
UPDATE @ 11.20 AM | INSTAGRAM appears to be back up and running following a global outage this morning.
The popular photo-sharing app went down briefly Tuesday morning, but was back up within half an hour.
The cause of the outage is not known, however thousands of people took to website-outage tracker DownDetector.com to report experiencing issues with Instagram’s newsfeed, log in and website.

EARLIER @ 10.45 AM | If you’re having trouble with Instagram this morning, don’t worry you’re not alone.
Instagram has reportedly stopped working worldwide, leaving thousands of people unable to access their feed.
The mass outage was first reported around 10.00am Tuesday, with website-outage tracker DownDetector.com registering more than 6,000 complaints around the same time.
Almost half of the reported problems were to do with Instagram’s newsfeed, while an additional 31 percent were related to log-in issues.
About 26 per cent of people reported Instagram’s website was also down.
Instagram is yet to comment on the outage which is being experienced right across the globe, including in Australia, the USA, New Zealand, India and the United Kingdom.
While some people have taken to social media to vent their frustration, others have made light of the situation and tweeted their hilarious responses to the outage.
