A 15-month-old boy has died after being found unresponsive at a home in the NSW Riverina Region.
Just before 11.00am on Sunday, emergency services were called to a home on Callaghan Street at Ashmont, following reports of concern for the welfare of a toddler.
Upon arrival, paramedics located the child and immediately began CPR.

The boy was then rushed to Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital, where he was declared deceased.
Officers from the Riverina Police District will investigate and a post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of the young boy’s death.
