Investigations underway after man dies in Sydney crash

A MAN has died following a serious crash in Sydney’s south this morning.

The accident happened on the Hume Motorway, near Picton Road at Pheasants Nest, about 8.15am.

It’s understood the vehicle veered off the road and rolled.


The driver, a 74-year-old man, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are underway.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
