A Jetstar crew member has been criticised for warning passengers to flush their drugs away.
Passengers were told of quarantine inspections at Sydney Airport, with the crew member announcing to passengers that “anything you shouldn’t have” should be flushed.
The flight departed from the Gold Coast and had many passengers on-board returning from the Splendour in the Grass Festival.

Jetstar issued a statement saying the words were “poorly chosen and plainly at odds with the professional standards we’d expect from our team.”
The airline apologised and said the staff member in question would be reprimanded.
