POLICE are hunting an armed man following the robbery of a service station in Park Ridge this week.
At about 2am on Tuesday, the man rode his red pushbike to the front of a locked service station on Chambers Flat Road.
Police say the man then gained entry to the servo when the employee was removing rubbish from the store.

“The man approached the front counter and waited for the employee to return from the bins, before producing a knife and demanding cash and cigarettes,” Qld Police said in a statement.
The attendant handed over cigarettes and lighters, but the robbery was interrupted when a delivery-truck driver pulled into the car-park.
The man then fled the scene on his bicycle with multiple cartons of cigarettes and several lighters. He was last seen cycling towards Park Ridge Road.
