A Brisbane school girl, who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, will be farewelled by family and friends today.
A funeral service will be held at Bridgeman Downs at noon for 16-year-old Larissa Beilby, whose body was found in a barrel on the back of a ute at Stapylton on the northern Gold Coast on June 27.
It follows a memorial service that was held for Larissa last weekend, where her sister Deanna read out an emotional letter describing the terrible pain caused by the loss.

She’ll today be joined by their grieving father Peter and brother Nathan.
Larissa’s alleged killer, 34-year-old Zlatko Sikorsky, is behind bars.
He surrendered to Police on the Sunshine Coast on June 30, following a 28-hour siege, and was charged with murder, torture, deprivation of liberty and interfering with a corpse.
He’s also been accused of attempting to murder another woman.
Our thoughts are with the loved ones of Larissa Beilby today as they prepare to say farewell to her. May she rest in peace.
