A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has been killed and her mother critically injured in a horror crash in Queensland.
It happened on Nudley Forest Road at Fairyland, near Chinchilla, about 10.30am on Thursday.
It’s understood the teenage learner driver was behind the wheel of the car when it left the unsealed road and rolled.

The vehicle came to rest on its roof on the side of the road after colliding with a tree.
The crash went unnoticed for two hours until a passing truck driver drove upon the awful scene about 12.30pm.
Both the girl and her mother who was a passenger in the car were critically injured and trapped in the wreckage.

Sadly, the teenage driver’s injuries were too severe and she could not be saved.
Police said the teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her 46-year-old mother was taken to Jandowae Hospital with head, facial and shoulder injuries.
It’s understood she has since been airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Queensland Ambulance said the woman was flown in a serious but stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
