Little girl run over by tractor outside home

A NINE-year-old girl is in hospital, lucky to be alive after being run over by a tractor in Adelaide.

The tragic accident happened on a steep embankment outside a home on North East Rd at Inglewood, in the Adelaide Hills about 11.15am on Friday.

A team of emergency services, including paramedics and firefighters, rushed to the scene and worked to save the small child’s life in the driveway of the home.


Once stable enough, the little girl was strapped onto a spinal board and carried to an ambulance.

She was taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hosptial where she remains this evening, in a stable condition.
