DEFENDING champion Lleyton Hewitt will return to the scene of his Brisbane International 2014 triumph when he steps out for his first hit of the season on Pat Rafter Arena today.
Australia’s No.1 ranked player will return to Queensland Tennis Centre next month with his sights set on back-to-back Roy Emerson Trophies at Brisbane International 2015, which gets under way on Sunday 4 January.
He will join an all-star men’s line-up set to descend on Brisbane for the event, including 2014 runner-up and 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer (SUI), 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic (CRO), 2014 US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori (JPN), 2009 US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro (ARG) and rising stars Milos Raonic (CAN) and Grigor Dimitrov (BUL).

Hewitt returned to Australia earlier this month after three weeks competing for the Singapore Slammers in the International Premier Tennis League.
This afternoon he will take part in his first practice session of the summer on Pat Rafter Arena, and preview all the action in store at Brisbane International 2015.
