Local choirs to belt out Christmas classics in epic singing battle at Pacific Fair

Some of the top choirs on the Gold Coast will be belting out their favourite Christmas tunes at Pacific Fair next week in the hope of scoring a spot to perform at the upcoming Broadbeach Christmas Carols.

Eight vocal ensembles will hit the stage to perform in the final of Pacific Fair’s Sing To Win competition on Thursday 8 November, with the winning group to secure a gig at the carols as well as thousands of dollars worth of prizes.

Among the finalists is Coastal Charisma, who impressed with their version of We Need A Little Christmas.

Vocalescence Chorus also made the cut with their rendition of The Secret of Christmas.

Other finalists include Worongary State School, Coomera Anglican College, MUSICA, the Blenders, Voice Weavers and Sound Connection.
