Logan child care centre fire ‘suspicious’

A ferocious blaze at a child care centre in Logan early this morning is being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.

The fire broke out at the early learning centre on Waller Road at Heritage Park around 1.20am.

Queensland Police said the blaze took hold of the rear of the centre, causing extensive damage to a large elaborate outdoor children’s playground.


No one was injured, however paramedics were on standby for firies putting out the blaze.

Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the fire to come forward.
