LONG DELAYS: Multi-vehicle crash brings traffic to a standstill on M1

TRAFFIC is at a standstill on the Pacific Motorway this afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash.

The accident happened southbound at Reedy Creek, between Exit 82 and 85, just before 3.00pm.

Emergency crews are currently on scene. It’s not yet known how many people, if any, have been injured.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads says all lanes have been blocked.

Motorists are being urged to delay travel or seek alternative routes with long delays expected.
