TWO people are lucky to be alive after a helicopter they were travelling in crashed this morning.
Emergency services were called to Silver Spur near the town of Texas around 10.10am this morning.
It’s believed the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing after the aircraft clipped power lines.

Both the pilot and passengers were uninjured in the landing.
The landing reportedly sparked a large blaze spanning 16 hectares.
Fire crews remain on the scene.
