A CRIME scene has been set up after a man was found with multiple stab wounds on a street north of Brisbane this morning.
It’s understood the man, aged in his 40s, was discovered lying seriously injured outside a convenience store on Blyth Road in Murrumba Downs around 5.45am.
Police confirmed in a statement a short time ago that he was “declared deceased at the scene.”

A witness, believed to be a woman, is currently assisting police with inquiries, however officers confirmed she is “extremely distressed”.
Blythe Road has been closed as Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Branch continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
