Major retailers to open their doors at Australia Fair prior to Christmas

Two major retailers will begin trading at the iconic Australia Fair shopping centre this month, as they officially open their doors to shoppers just in time for Christmas.

JB Hi-Fi and  Max Brenner will be the latest tenants to join the precinct’s extensive retail line-up – which is currently home to a new look Coles that reopened last week, as well as Woolworths, Kmart, Event Cinemas and over 200 specialty stores.

Located on the ground floor near the mall’s Nerang Street entry, JB Hi-Fi will commence trading from today, while Max Brenner will open on Friday December 22 with a deliciously extravagant chocolate-filled celebration.

The openings follow the Centre’s recent completion of its $25million stage one redevelopment project, which saw major upgrades made to the Scarborough Street façade, ground floor concourse and Coles Australia Fair.

With Christmas fast approaching, Australia Fair general manager Ramon Otten said they were thrilled to announce the opening of JB Hi-Fi and Max Brenner – which he anticipated would be well-received by shoppers across the holiday period.

“Both retailers will be great additions to the Centre’s offerings, and will no doubt be popular destinations for those enjoying their Christmas shopping at Australia Fair,” he said.

“Shoppers can choose from the latest home entertainment products at JB Hi-Fi, making for that perfect Christmas gift, while enjoying a much-needed pit-stop at Max Brenner to relax and refuel with the kids.”
