Malcolm Turnbull has seen a significant decline in popularity as Australia’s preferred Prime Minister, according to the latest Newspoll.
The poll, published by The Australian overnight, shows Labor narrowly leads the coalition 51 per cent to 49 per cent in two-party preferred terms.
However, Malcolm Turnbull has again secured his position as Australia’s preferred Prime Minister, despite seeing a significant drop in popularity.

According to the poll, Mr Turnbull’s lead over Opposition Leader Bill Shorten has slipped from 19 to 12 points.
