Man, 21, charged with having sex with 14-year-old girl

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged after allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl multiple times at a home on the NSW Central Coast.

The man is accused of having sex with the girl several times at a home at Umina Beach in May.

Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad were alerted to the allegations last month.


Following investigations and numerous attempts to locate the man, he was arrested by officers from Gosford Target Action Group at his home in Woy Woy just after 3 pm yesterday.

The man was taken to Gosford Police Station, where he was met by detectives and charged with two counts of have sexual intercourse with a person aged 14-16.

Police say the man is known to the girl.

The 21-year-old was remanded in custody overnight and due to appear in Gosford Local Court today.
