Man, 25, charged over fatal stabbing

A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man to death at a home in Central West New South Wales.

The victim, a 50-year-old man, was found deceased with multiple stab wounds at a house on Long Street in Trundle, near Parkes, on Tuesday night.

The 25-year-old man was arrested on Croft Street about 8pm and taken to Parkes Police Station where he was charged with one count of murder.


He was refused bail and due to appear in Parkes Local Court today.

Police confirmed the men were known to each other and said the incident was domestic violence-related.
