Man, 28, arrested in Gold Coast drug raid

A MAN will appear in court next month, charged with drug offences following a police raid on the Gold Coast.

Officers from the city’s Rapid Action Patrol squad stormed the man’s home at Hollywell on Wednesday morning.

While searching the Paradise Parade home, officers allegedly found a stash of crystal methylamphetamine and cannabis.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of possess dangerous drug and one count of possess utensils.

He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on September 19.

Police investigations are ongoing.
