Man, 70, found “safe and well” after going missing in Surfers Paradise

UPDATE at 7:00 PM | A 70-YEAR-OLD man reported missing from Surfers Paradise has been found.

The man was last seen on Birt Street on Friday night after leaving a hotel in the tourist precinct around 10pm.

Police had concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and issued a missing person alert.

Thankfully, police released a statement shortly after 6.30pm on Saturday, confirming the 70-year-old had been found “safe and well”.

They thanked the public for their assistance.
