Man accused of attacking 7 people in 30-minute shopping centre rampage

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has allegedly attacked seven people and rendered an elderly woman unconscious in a violent 30-minute rampage at a shopping centre in Melbourne’s southeast.

Police allege the man lashed out and attacked seven people at random on Lonsdale Street and around the Hub Arcade at Dandenong between 10.30 and 11am on Friday.

One of the victims, a 76-year-old woman, was pushing her trolley through the shopping centre, minding her own business, when she was punched in the head.


The elderly woman lost consciousness and was transported to hospital with facial injuries.

The 21-year-old local man was arrested by police a short time later and has since been charged with affray and multiple assault offences.

He was remanded at Melbourne Magistrate’s Court today and will re-appear in court on Wednesday.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or saw any suspicious activity in the area in the lead up to the alleged assaults to come forward.

What a GUTLESS DOG.There a few things that need to happen here Starting with putting this maggot into a room with the male relations of the old lady.Then get a Judge with enough balls to put him in jail for a long long time.Does this not fall into the ONE PUNCH law
