Man and woman hospitalised after ‘incident’ in Upper Coomera

A COUPLE have been taken to hospital after a reported domestic violence incident at a home in Upper Coomera early this morning.

Just before 1am, police were called to a house in the northern Gold Coast suburb following reports of a man and woman fighting.

A Gold Coast police spokesperson told myGC that the pair are understood to have been “highly intoxicated” and began assaulting each other.

They were treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.

The pair were transported in a stable condition.
