Man arrested over alleged attack on cafe staff

A MAN is set to face court on Sunday, after a violent attack inside a cafe in Sydney’s inner west.

Police say the 23-year-old entered the cafe, on Terry Street in Rozelle, about 2pm on Saturday and began arguing with people inside.

Police will allege the man then became aggressive toward staff members.

“During the incident, two staff members were injured, suffering from a suspected broken arm and lacerations to the hand,” Police confirmed in a statement.

The man has been charged with three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, affray, reckless wounding.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
