A man has been arrested after he tossed a live alligator through a Wendy’s drive-thru window.
Joshua James, 24, received a drink from an employee through the drive-thru before throwing the 3-and-a-half-foot reptile into the restaurant, according to a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission incident report.
“While the attendant has her back to the window and is at her register, the male driver reaches across the inside of his vehicle in the passenger area and throws an alligator from his vehicle into the drive through window,” the report stated.

James, who admitted to picking up the alligator on the side of the road, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; unlawful sale, possession or transporting of an alligator; and petty theft.
His mother told WPTV that it was just a stupid prank.
“It was just a stupid prank that he did that’s now turning into this; it’s stupid – He’s a prankster. He does stuff like this because he thinks it’s funny.”
James has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.
