AFTER a massive social media campaign, police have managed to track down and charge a man for stealing Linc, the beloved staffy from Palm Beach.
Officers allege he entered the Tahiti Avenue home around 1pm on Sunday and stole the pup.
The residents had CCTV set up in their home and released images of the man and they were quickly spread through social media outlets.

The dog was safely returned to his owner yesterday, and a man was taken into custody this afternoon.
A 43-year-old Darra man has been charged with one count each of stealing and trespass and is due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on January 14.
