A man has been charged after police discovered explosive material in a residential home just north of the Coast.
The 32-year-old man has been charged with manufacturing explosives and two counts of weapons related charges.
It comes after Kallista Road in Rochedale South was placed into lockdown when police discovered the material while executing a search warrant.

Some of the material is too volatile to move, forcing police to start detonating some of the explosives at around 2am this morning.
It’s understood detonations will continue throughout the next few days.
Police have said the incident does not appear to be terrorism or G20 related.
