A man’s been charged following the stabbing of another man in Surfers Paradise yesterday.
Just after 10.30am, a 49-year-old Surfers Paradise man attended the home of a woman who was known to him.
Police say the man was denied entry so he left.

Just a short time later, a 49-year-old Southport man, who was at the property, followed the man and a fight broke out at the intersection of Remembrance Drive and Peninsular Drive.
“It will be alleged the two men were involved in a physical altercation during which time the 49-year-old Southport man sustained a number of stab wounds,” police said.
The 49-year-old Southport man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious injuries.
The 49-year-old Surfers Paradise man was arrested at the scene and charged with grievous bodily harm and breaching a domestic violence order.
He’s due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday, February 24.
