A man has been arrested and charged over a hit and run that left a young boy with serious head injuries on the NSW Central Coast six months ago.
Police say an 11-year-old boy was struck by a trail bike on Parsons Road just after 2pm on Sunday 21 June.

The boy was treated at the scene by paramedics before being airlifted to The Westmead Children’s Hospital with skull and facial injuries.
He remained in hospital for a number of days before being released.
Investigators were told the male rider did not stop at the scene to render assistance, prompting a full investigation and public appeal.
Just before 2pm on Thursday, police attended a home on Hutton Road at The Entrance North and arrested a 34-year-old man.
He was taken to Wyong police station where he was charged with a number of offences including, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, not give particulars to injured person, and use unregistered vehicle.
