A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another man multiple times at a unit in Sydney’s southwest.
The 28-year-old is accused of attacking a 38-year-old man in a unit on Railway Parade at Canley Vale late on Tuesday night.
Police and paramedics were called to the unit shortly before 11pm and arrived to find the older man suffering multiple stab wounds.

The victim was rushed to Liverpool Hospital where he remains today in a critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery.
The Canley Vale unit was declared a crime scene and examined overnight while Strike Force Kindra was set up to investigate the incident.
Following investigations, strike force police located and arrested the 28-year-old at his home on Friday afternoon.
He was taken to Fairfield Police Station where he was charged with cause wounding with intent to murder, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 28-year-old was remanded in custody overnight and due to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today.
