A MAN has been charged with murder after the body of another man was found in the rear tray of a ute on the NSW North Coast last month.
Police made the grim discovery after being flagged down by a woman in the ute about 2.30pm on Thursday 18 October.
“The body of a 40-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to his torso was located in the rear tray of the utility at Dundurrabin” NSW police said in a statement.

The 37-year-old woman was arrested at the time, however, she was released pending further inquiries.
Following ongoing investigations, a 43-year-old man was arrested in Coffs Harbour on Wednesday.
He was charged with murder and refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
Police will allege the man shot the victim during an altercation at an Armidale Road home.
