Man charged with robbing three bottle shops at gunpoint

ONE of two men who allegedly robbed three Logan bottle shops in the space of 20 minutes at the weekend has been arrested and charged.

The 30-year-old was taken into custody at a home in Brassall on Sunday afternoon after holding up the liquor stores in Marsden, Waterford and North Maclean on Saturday.

He was charged with three counts each of armed robbery, two counts each of unlawful use of a vehicle and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon.

He’s due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court this morning.

The second man, along with a suspected stolen Kawasaki KLX 250 motorbike used in the robberies, are yet to be found.
