Man dies after being flung from ute in horror crash

A YOUNG man has tragically died after being ejected from a car in a horror crash in NSW.

It happened on Nidgery Byrock Road at Byrock, about 79km west of Bourke in the state’s central north, on Saturday.

Police said three men were in a Mazda utility travelling west when the vehicle left the road and rolled.

The ute flipped through the air with so much force, the 24-year-old driver was flung out the vehicle.

Police performed CPR on the young man at the scene until paramedics arrived but he could not be saved.

His two male passengers, aged 40 and 20, escaped with only minor injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
