Man found dead after ‘paragliding incident’ in NSW

Police are desperately appealing for dashcam footage after a paraglider was found dead in NSW.

Officers were first alerted to the incident after receiving reports “an object was falling from the sky” just after 6.30pm on Thursday.

After rushing to the scene on Karingal Road, near the Newell Highway, approximately 70km north of Moree, police located a paraglider frame and the body of a 36-year-old man from Eastwood in Victoria.

Detectives investigating the fatal incident are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage or other information that may assist them, to come forward.
