Man found with life-threatening injuries

MYSTERY surrounds the discovery of a man found clinging to life with horrific injuries at a unit complex in Sydney’s south-west overnight.

Police and paramedics were called to the complex on Railway Parade, near Pevensey Street, at Canley Vale about 10.50pm following reports that a man had been seriously injured.

When they arrived, officers found a man aged in his 30s with life-threatening head and neck injuries.

The man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and was expected to undergo emergency surgery.

Police established a crime scene at the Canley Vale complex and are urging anyone with information to come forward as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
