Man hospitalised after car crashes into fence on Gold Coast

A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car smashed into a fence in Parkwood early this morning.

The accident happened on Morfantaine Terrace just after 5.30am.

Miraculously, the driver managed to escape without injury and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for observation.

Meanwhile, a man in his 20s suffered head and hip injuries after his car crashed into a pole at Woodridge .

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Moss Street and Kingston Road just after 1am.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to Logan hospital.
