Man in ‘serious condition’ after early morning stabbing attack, Surfers Paradise

A man’s been rushed to hospital in a serious condition, after an alleged stabbing attack in Surfers Paradise this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene along Gold Coast Highway just after 5.30am, following reports of the incident.

Critical care paramedics treated a man in his 30s briefly at the scene, before rushing him to hospital for further treatment.

The High Acuity Response Unit was called to the scene as well.

He’s believed to have suffered an abdominal injury in the attack, and is in a serious condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Police say the man was found injured near a service station at the corner of Monaco Street and the Gold Coast Highway.

Investigations are now underway.
