ONE man is dead and another has been charged following a serious trail bike and ute crash in NSW overnight.
The fatal accident happened around 8.30pm, when a Nissan Navara utility and a trail bike collided on Lowe Street in Howlong.
Sadly, the trail bike rider, a 23-year-old man, died at the scene.

Police said a second trail bike rider escaped uninjured, however he allegedly assaulted the 65-year-old driver of the ute before stealing his car.
“Police will allege, the rider returned in the utility before further assaulting the driver and fleeing on foot,” NSW Police said in a statement.
The ute driver was treated at the scene for facial injuries before being taken to Albury Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Following investigations, officers arrested a 28-year-old man at a nearby home.
He was taken to Albury Police Station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, drive conveyance taken without consent of owner, drive during disqualification period, and use unregistered registrable motor vehicle.
The man was refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court today.
