Man seriously injured in one punch attack

A MAN remains in a serious condition in hospital this morning after being coward-punched in Sydney’s CBD.

The 23-year-old man was knocked unconscious in the attack at St James Railway Station about 4.10pm.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.


Police said the victim was “punched once” in the face by another man, who fled the scene and is yet to be found.

Officers from the Sydney City Police are investigating the incident and are urging witnesses to come forward.
