Man shot dead in middle of suburban street in broad daylight

A MAN has been shot dead in broad daylight in the middle of a suburban street in Sydney’s Inner West.

The man, believed to be aged in his late 20s, was gunned down on Minogue Crescent, near Hereford Cresent, in Forest Lodge just after 12.30pm on Friday.

Police said the man’s body was found lying in the middle of the road, blocking traffic.


The area is now crawling with police who have saturated the area in the search for the shooter.

There are reports officers are looking for two male suspects.

Anyone who was in the area around the time of the shooting and has any information that could assist police with their investigation is urged to come forward.
