A MAN has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man to death in a park north of the Sunshine Coast overnight.
Police said they were called to reports of two men, aged 29 and 38, fighting in Norville Park on Killer Street in Bundaberg about 9pm.
It’s alleged during the altercation, the younger man stabbed the older man in the chest and shoulder, causing him to collapse on a park bench.

Sadly, the 38-year-old man’s injuries were too severe and he could not be saved.
The man from Bundaberg North was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.

A short time later, officers arrested the 29-year-old man at an address nearby.
He has since been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court tomorrow.
