Man suffers ‘significant’ injuries in Gold Coast crash

A MAN has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition following a traffic accident on the Gold Coast.

The man is believed to have been riding a motorcycle which was involved in the accident on Napper Road at Parkwood just after 2pm.

Queensland Ambulance said the man suffered significant chest, leg and arm injuries in the accident.

An ambulance spokesperson was unable to confirm whether or not another vehicle was involved.

The man was treated at the scene by a team of paramedics before being rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

His age was not immediately known.
