A man and teenage girl have been arrested after drugs and weapons were found inside a car allegedly driven at Police near Murwillumbah.
Police were responding to reports of a disturbance at a property on Hazlebrook Rd at Smiths Creek around 12.30 this morning.
A silver Holden Commodore has then sped off after seeing Police.

Officers followed the vehicle for a short time before it was allegedly driven directly towards Police, hitting the front bull bar.
No Police were injured.
The Commodore then continued down an embankment before the driver fled into nearby bushland on foot.
The 28-year-old was chased by officers who were forced to use OC spray before arresting him.
A 14-year-old female passenger was also arrested for breaching her bail.
Officers searched the Commodore, allegedly finding the drug ice, ammunition, a taser, two tomahawks, two knives and a machete.
The man was charged with drugs and weapons offences as well as driving whilst disqualified and outstanding arrest warrants.
He was refused bail and was due to front Tweed Heads Local Court today.
The 14-year-old girl was also refused bail to front the Children’s Court today.
