Manhunt underway after shot fired at Gold Coast house

POLICE are hunting a gunman after a bullet was fired into a house on the Gold Coast overnight.

The shooting happened at a Currumbin Waters house on Judeller Road just after 7.30pm.

Shortly after the shot was fired, police said an “unknown person was seen leaving the area in a black coloured vehicle.”


Damage was caused to a front window and an internal wall of the home, however luckily, a 27-year-old man and other occupants inside the home were uninjured.

Officers have since conducted extensive patrols of the area, however the vehicle and shooter have not been located.

Investigations are continuing.
