Men wanted by police after kangaroos tortured and killed

TWO kangaroos have been tortured and killed in a sickening act of animal cruelty.

Police in Western Australia say the animals are believed to have died on Saturday 19 May and Saturday 16 June.

“On these dates, two kangaroos were tortured and killed. Investigators believe that both of the incidents occurred in Western Australia,” WA Police said in a statement.

Detectives are now appealing for help to identify three men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The first man is described as being 20-30 years of age, fair skinned, with a medium build and dark facial hair. He was wearing a black beanie with a white emblem on the front and a black hooded top.

The second man is described as being 25-30 years of age, fair skinned, solid build with short brown hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a black hooded top.

The third man is described as 25-30 years of age, fair skinned, medium build with facial hair. He was wearing a dark coloured top with an emblem on the front and writing on the sleeves.

Anyone with information on the identity of the three males, or the animal cruelty incidents, is being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
