“I just can’t believe it!” she exclaimed when speaking with a Golden Casket official.

“I checked my ticket and I refused to believe it.

“I’ve been crying ever since!

“This win has come at such a great time. I’ve had a bit of a rough time lately but this will make life a whole lot easier.”

The woman won with just a 4-game marked entry that cost $2.85.

“I’ve been playing these same numbers for decades. I think they were special numbers to start with but I’ve been playing them for so long I don’t even remember,” she laughed.

The winner also vowed to update her Winners Circle contact details should another win fall her way.

“My best piece of advice for anyone is to check your tickets!” she said.

The winning entry was purchased at IGA Mermaid Waters, Cnr Karbunya Street and Sunshine Boulevard, Mermaid Waters.

The six winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3857 on Saturday 7 July 2018 were 29, 1, 6, 43, 23 and 18. The supplementary numbers were 3 and 35.
