Missing girls believed to be on the Gold Coast

POLICE are appealing for help to locate two young girls from Brisbane who they believe may be on the Gold Coast.

The pair, aged 15 and 16, were last seen at a home on Bonneville Street in Holland Park West around 6.00pm on Monday night.

They have not made contact with family or friends since and police believe they may be travelling to or around the coast.

The 15-year-old girl is described as Caucasian, approximately 150cm tall, a thin build with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The 16-year-old girl is also described as Caucasian, approximately 160cm tall, with a slim build, brown hair and eyes.

Anyone who may have seen the two girls are being asked to contact police.
